Sharing the Gospel with addicts since 1926!

We are Metro Hope. A Residential faith-based drug and alcohol recovery program serving men, women, and mothers with children. Providing healing and hope for the whole family since 1926.  Many of our residents are at the end of their options. Most have exhausted their support systems, lost their homes and are unable to support themselves or their families financially. Many have lost custody of their children and have experienced unemployment and homelessness. At Metro Hope, for a season of their lives, thousands of men and women in our programs have encountered Jesus and the hope He gives. On a daily basis, we are blessed to see people receive His grace, begin walking in His identity and strive to lead productive lives.

We are a restorative recovery ministry providing real help and lasting hope for the entire family in a grace-filled environment through Jesus Christ.

We provide separate Christ-centered long term residential ministries for men and women with children who are seeking freedom from the shackles of addiction.  These mentored programs emphasize a unique restorative process that cleanses the body, clears the mind, changes the heart and saves the soul.

Who are our residents?

  • Men, women, and mothers with children are referred to us locally and from across the country.
  • They seek freedom from the shackles of addiction (substance abuse, gambling, pornography, etc.).
  • Most are reeling from a broken circle of family and friends.
  • They have tried other programs without success.
  • They have no financial means to pay for a recovery program.
  • They have come to realize their need to look toward their heavenly Father, who heals and transforms by the power of Jesus Christ.

The men of New Hope Center and the women of Healing House are challenged daily through individual counseling, Bible studies, life-skills coaching, classes, prayer and a live-in community. The mothers and children at Healing House are establishing a Christ-centered bond and experiencing the power of God in their lives. Prior to leaving our program, the men and women have found a job or schooling, safe housing and a church family to walk with them through life.

What is the key to our success? Nothing less than the work of the Holy Spirit, through the willing instruments of staff and volunteers who work with and through the challenges of broken people. They are an extraordinary group of faithful and dedicated servants, looking to Him for strength, wisdom and guidance.
