Looking For A Few Godly Men
Philippians 2:1-4 1If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
2010 promises to be a year of restoration, transformation, renewal, and growth for us all. The lord has united us all in Christ to take this journey together. The Tuesday night aftercare group is a time for us to share our victories, lift each other up when we fall, and to continue to grow as the body of Christ.
I have two challenges for NHC alumni in 2010.
The first is to come and join us on Tuesday nights at 7pm for the alumni support group. There are many new men beginning their journey and would benefit greatly from your testimony and experience. I am sure that not only will you be a blessing to them but would be blessed yourself by the experience.
The second is to give back. Metro Hope Ministries depends greatly on the many men and women of God that come alongside of the ministry to provide essential components to help keep the ministry going. There are many ways you can be in service as God intended. Whether it is volunteering your time or providing financial support, you can make a difference.
I am looking forward to hearing you all. Feel free to stop in and catch up or to introduce yourself.
